Wise Learning

I have started to share my work on transformational learning design and wise development that I have been researching and refining for over 10 years.

I am currently developing an online course for facilitators, coaches and educators.

This work looks at 3 different paradigms of learning and growth. Most learning design only works with 1 of these 3 to do with knowledge transfer and skill development, the other 2 paradigms I will introduce you to, bring in how to support people in cultivating wisdom (a kind of psychological and spiritual maturity) and how to develop Mastery (mastering a way of being).

You may work with these three things to a greater or lesser degree already, my work has been to take the more mysterious dimensions of human development (wisdom and mastery) and get as clear as I can about what they are and how you develop them in people. This may seem like there is a danger of becoming reductive about things that are deep, rich and complex, but my experience is that it is possible to hold them with nuance and sophistication, while using structured concepts to get even more consistent in our capacity to create real development and personal growth.

If you want to learn from me about this work sooner and you have a team or community of facilitators, teachers or coaches you want to empower with these methods and approaches then I am happy to work with you to shape and run some workshops (by Zoom or similar, for now, in-person in the future) to teach Wise Learning methods to your group.

I have been running professional trainings, workshops and doing coaching, spiritual counselling and healing work with people for around 20 years now and have developed some simple but profound methods for designing and shaping transformational experiences for individuals and groups. These methods have been tried and tested in a huge variety of settings from the far reaches of ritual and ceremonial work and shamanic healing practice, right through to the more conventional but equally fascinating workshops I have run extensively in business and organisations with leaders, managers, graduates and teams.
